    This blender from KitchenAid combines power and precision with innovative design for exceptional performance. The 0.9-HP motor will quickly blend soups or sauces or pulverize a pitcher of ice. To handle all of that power, the coupler between the motor and the blade is commercial quality and steel reinforced with 12 interlocking teeth. The pitcher shape, blade design and Intelli-Speed control work together to provide perfect results. The 1-pc. pitcher with built-in blade assembly is easy to clean and the heavy die-cast metal base provides a stable, quiet platform of reliable operation.

We love this blender. It is super powerful and lovely too. At first, I was hesitant about a 'plastic' mixer--I've always had glass. But it is so nice not worrying about it breaking all the time! Ours got knocked off the counter and didn't crack--it would have been gone if it was glass. Washes nicely in the dishwasher, blends great. And the fact that it is pink is, of course, the entire reason I bought it. adorable!

I just recently recieved this blender as a gift. All I can say is that it is amazing. My boyfriend filled it up with ice and in less than 10 seconds the job was done. I already have the stand mixer, food processor and handheld mixer. I would recommend this product to everyone.

This blender works well for anyone who is seeking a durable, heavy-duty appliance. I love the polycarbonate jar which is virtually indestructable, and very easy to clean. The jar is also shaped well to allow for easy pouring. Our last blender jar was square and was difficult to pour without spilling. One caution: the blades are VERY sharp; the first time I cleaned the jar I cut my finger.

Very powerful blender.

So easy to clean, maintain and works wonderfully. It is also a lot more silent than older brands. I simply love this blender!
